Need some ideas about where to go? Check out the state travel bureaus They all offer great free resources for your travel needs.

Be sure to read my travels in my blog and post your own.

Travel is a great way to learn more about the world. You can always take a guided a tour but my preference is to just go and explore. Sure, you may miss some things but then you will also discover a lot that you won't find in a guided tour.

One of my goals has been to travel Route 66 (rather, what's left of it) from end to end. Route 66, also known as the Mother Road, is a great part of American history.

MS Freedom of the SeasCruising is the way to go if you want to see several areas and don't want to be packing and unpacking all the time. A great place for information on curising can be found at Cruise Critic.
